盒（1.25oz），碰到喜欢吃的，像 sweet potato，胡萝卜泥，会吃一整盒，水果都不
太喜欢，勉强半盒。。。
试过用smash & serve bowl给她自己做蔬菜，水果泥，好像娃不是很喜欢，我每次都是
加点水和煮好的水果，蔬菜一起捣，我觉得已经很细了，可是尝起来好像又没有卖的蔬
菜水果泥那么细腻，娃吃几口就不喜欢了，是我用的方法不对吗？我做的泥娃统统都不
吃。。。即使是喜欢的红薯泥啥的，只吃罐头，有啥好建议吗？是不是需要换工具？这
么细的泥要吃多久呢？娃儿已经有两颗牙了。
关于2nd 辅食的疑问：2nd好像6个月以后就可以开始吃了吗，2nd的辅食大多数都是混
合几种食物一起的，有些还没有单独给娃试过的，比如corn，或者菠菜啥的，是不是先
单独试过了，再吃2nd 的罐头？
如果是的话，问题又来了，没有单独的菠菜，玉米罐头卖，我做的娃又不喜欢，貌似吃
起来有颗粒感，不够细腻。。。怎么解决啊？？！！

是什么都碰上了。
去年公司提交perm之前做了5个月的 layoff analysis.不知道会不会有帮助。

发帖数: 12977 | 24 昨天用2nd skin包扎了超级大血泡，这个用水制造的胶状物还真灵验，今天早上起来，
已经感觉不到疼了。
既然没感觉了，我就决定继续跑今天的long run。 换上了新袜子，穿上了Newton
Distance。
牛顿鞋我前三次穿，跑了13迈，20迈，10迈，依然不适应，不仅仅木有理解这个前脚掌
的凸起，而且把脚跑伤了。
这次再次穿上，神奇的事情发生了。很多人提到的小腿酸痛我在前几迈就突然体会到了
。然后我特别注意了提高步频，结果不知道是否心理作用还是真的有效果，感觉跑的快
了。
也许是前半段跑的太快，后面有些乏力了，不像是前几次long run，都是后半程发力的
。不过，通过这次long run，我确定了我非常喜欢牛顿鞋。
回到家里，立即下蛋买了一双牛顿重力鞋，作为平时训练的主力。
洗澡以后，把2nd skin包扎打开，发现血泡已经完全没有血色了，血泡的皮有些重叠，
结果是我跑完以后有点不舒服的原因，但是已经不是水泡或者血泡了。为安全起见，我
今晚再包扎一次2nd skin, 为明天的跑准备。 我强烈推荐大家买一个备用，特别是万
一比赛前出问题。 |

比如有参加auction的有两个人，一个按照1st price auction来bid，另一个按照2nd
price auction来bid，我的感觉是最后的结果（who is the winner and how much is
the payment）应该等同于两个人都按照1st price或2nd price auciton来bid的情形。
也就是说谁的true valuation高谁赢，payment都是等于2nd highest bidder's true
valuation。如果参加auction的有多人，而且有多个item，结果是否仍然是一样的呢？
这个问题可能没什么现实意义，我在网上大概找了一下居然没有什么文献，这种
auction有没有什么特定的名字？哪里能找到一些结论性的东西？

I have a sedan. I'm having a weird problem with my transmission. Its
automatic transmission. If I'm accelerating smoothly, when it shifts from
1st to 2nd gear, the car jerks, like its pushed forward all of a sudden, and
then everything goes back to normal. If I press on the pedal and accelerate
fast, this doesn't happen. All other shifts are normal, its only the shift
from 1st to 2nd gear when accelerating slowly. Any ideas what might be
causing this?

head,说是最早1月份给消息，一直没有回音，1月底的时候发信问状态同时表示还很感
兴趣，但是没有回复。今天突然收到小米的电话，要约明天2nd电面，只有2位research
方向和我接近的faculty明天参与。大家有碰到过类似的情况吗？这是否暗示着什么呢
？是因为第一次电面的时候表现不好，但是cv不错，人家给的2nd chance吗？很是迷惑
，大家说说！
update: 电面完了。时间很短，不过10分钟，问得问题也不是我事先猜想的有关research方面的，只是再次问了teaching的经验和本专业要求的license的问题。有趣的是，事后我按照常例发了thank u note,表示还很感兴趣，其中的1位给我cc了search committee,转达了我依然对他们有兴趣。这是否是好的兆头呢？是否暗示着其实search committee已经对我有了positve的评价，这次找assist/associ的2次电面无非是再次了解情况？ |

1. committee chair提到wife availability,想让老婆也去，由于特殊原因老婆去不了
，这种情况下老婆不去影响该不大吧？直接说老婆不能去，她支持我去这个地方？
2. chair要求我发一个summary of startup request, 从来没高过，哪里可以找到个模
版什么的？
另外，2nd visit要salary expectation, negotiate等，如果有需要注意的地方，希望

我有两个2nd visits 要去。一个小公立医学院，估计会直接给我tenure. 另一个是大
公立医学院，没提具体的offer细节，就是让我带家属过去看看环境。但电话跟chair简
单聊过，说不能直接给tenure，即使有别的学校给tenure. 我的问题是，2nd visit 的
时候，我能否跟dean再问问有没有这个可能，至少能同意在来后1，2年内给tenure,写
在offer里。或者还有什么别的可行的办法达到同样的目的。
非常感谢。
自身条件，独立了3年多的医学院AP，幸运的拿到2个RO1,还有一个作为合作者的RO1,有
10% effort, 算是2.1个RO1 吧。还有4个foundation grants.觉得自己有条件提这样的
要求。但不知别人独立客观的评价是否该直接要tenure.

1）学校先给了offer（但还没给具体条件），同时邀请去2nd visit（也邀请了家属同
去）。接受去2nd visit并不表示一定接收offer，对么？家属能否在当地找到合适工作
是一个很大的concern，学校表示会帮忙，是否得等到工作有眉目再签合同呢？
2）还有一些学校的面试，机票日程等等都已订好，大概一个月以后。如果这之前接受
了其他学校的offer，更professional的做法是告诉后面的学校取消面试呢，还是啥也
不说继续去？
