不过来了之后就有TA了，因为他有当TA的经验（题外话，他也通过了数学系的TA考试，
并且拿到了教2hr recitation的资格，但是没拿到教课的offer，囧）
最后令我不解的是，我这个凶弟背景相当牛逼，但是还是没奖，家属申请反到有奖
我的感叹是：有时候长的太帅也是不好的（那个凶弟保持统计系系帅称号长达3年） |

南加恶俗糖水风光男2人组本年度第四次采花活动（第一次garden，第二次扑空，第三
次leo carrillo，第四次joshua tree NP）
最近有以sanny为首的探马频频从LA出动，经打探清楚，joshua tree已经遍地鲜花（呈
明显而规则的斑秃状分布，其间点缀荒土细沙）。因为此行路途遥远，（～120miles）
，恶糖男们决定3am施展僵尸功爬被窝。结果到了前一夜晚间，一个做实验做到1am，一
个1am还在bbs上开展猜谜活动。。。
最后经默契，司机师傅依然获得2hr睡眠，而野外生存顾问（准备了头灯，热水，并且
随时预备用肉体饲喂响尾蛇，大灰狼或者黑山老妖，以保全司机的性命）则采取继续油
尽灯枯，死活不睡，期望通过分泌毒素降低肉质，争取倒掉上述猎食者胃口。

土人如我者，这个season一般都比较背，san jacinto爬了3次，登顶了一次
baldy也爬了3次，这次总算也登顶了
负重 约40lb（除了bt的全套冬季gear，还带了4L水，事实证明多带水是明智的
大太阳底下攻南坡，不烤你烤谁）
trail head to ski hut (约1.5hr,包括5min的休息，但是除去了一些给某前山鹰社成员
收拾blister的时间），一路都是packed snow。但是下山的时候雪化的非常厉害
全是冰，雪，泥混合物。没有gaiter就别考虑了。除非你想走两鞋子烂泥。
ski hut to peak （约2hr，大坡直上攻顶，0.8mi爬升约1900ft，雪况很适合这种
方式的冲击。先用snowshoe爬升了一段，后来有一片雪层过薄，只有大概5～10cm
下面就是乱石头，snowshoe吃不住了，换了cr |

6月计划带我父母去加州玩2周，休息为主。我住在纽约长岛，所以beach和高楼大厦就
不是此行重点了。学习了下精华区，大概定了个计划，但是不太满意，觉得有点赶，可
是又不知道如何取舍，请经验人士指教一下！

友确认，然后在今晚之前给我回email反馈你的意愿。

park at the ferry parking lot for $7. then walk 3 minutes to the old
building to buy ticket, boat has schedule. i just been there last last
saturday, very nice weather, no line. |

Those boats departs at 8:00am, since it does not wait people, you need to be
there around a bit earlier than departing time. Assume you need to leave
Edison by 2hrs 45mins ahead, that is leaving Edison like 5:15 am.... Plus
the time to get ready, and car pool... You are talking about 4:30am or even
earlier...
I was looking forward to see if someone will organize... but this one is
really too far...
I went fishing a few times in Atlanic highlands.

了, 其实belt pkwy才两条lanes路长堵得远些, 而278通往NYC路也堵路短, 出了荷兰隧
道就海阔天空, 到red bank1就45-50分钟就够了.
提醒:不要按GPS进入114出口, Garden State PKWAY Local land, Red Bank是109出口
就快很多. |

尽量早去。因为附近不能停车，只能停车场，我们去的时候停车场满了，这里怪我磨蹭
，我们下午2点多才到，早就没有位子了，还好我们和负责停车的小姑娘套近乎又比较
lucky，顺利抢到一个有人离开空出的位。
hike到酒店很近，30min，酒店在半山腰。
接着就是难度9out10的石头什么的。需要手脚并用，不想走那个的，有其他route
我的地方挺滑有的很陡，带小朋友的还是不要选那个道了这段爬了2hr吧，因为都是单
行线，没法超，前面有人堵着我们就只能等，三楼那个地方就走了很久。
下山走了另一条路，很快，一小时不到就从顶上下来了 |

form the north tip down to south (battery park) on the west side?
it takes me almost 2hrs to bike the traffic free route.
hiking after the snow may easily take a whoe day. |

发帖数: 1121 | 50 秋天是收获的季节，也是品酒的好时候。Winery 在美丽的长岛东头。从Flushing出发要1.5-2小时。
如果品酒完毕还有时间，可以到Shelter Island一游。(not this time)
计划一大早就去。Winery tour要几十刀。
具体行程还没定，细节还在查询，会尽快发布。希望有经验的朋友提供些信息哈。有兴
趣的朋友也冒个泡。不希望人太多。喝醉了抬不动。
