标 题: 无线网的问题

家里有个netgear router，俩个有无限网卡的笔记本。
一个A上网好好的没有问题。另外一个B却有问题，看起来
也连上了，但是哪里也连不出去，
在“Connectoin status”那个窗口里面
speed一会儿显示是11Mbps，过几秒小时150Mbps，过几秒
又是11Mbps。可以上网的那个A一直都是显示11Mbps。
B里面已经把我家里的无线网设置成“preferred network”，
两个笔记本的IP也没有冲突。B还有Bluebooth。B是dell D430.
请大家给诊断一下可能是怎么回事？ 怎么修？

的速度大概是多少？ 11Mbps应该不快把？
我觉得，可能是我台式机的无线网卡太烂了。用的是ASUS最便宜的网卡。 有无限网卡

无线用的是b吧，那最高是只有11Mbps
而且11Mbps也足够你上网用的了，瓶颈不在这里 |

rt-n16, 就在书房的书桌地下 （书房在一楼中间部位）
书房 17Mbps
family room 11Mbps (和书房隔一个洗衣服）
master bedroom 3Mbps （楼上的最边上）
衰减还挺多的。rt n66u或者e3000是不是会好点？ |

download speed有11Mbps,在家把WI-FI打开用,download speed到了19Mbps,大家平常家

这次来cancun订了个没有free wifi的酒店。查了下上网的话每天要交19刀。木办法，
本着prepaid的猥琐精神在ebay花$20买了个支持墨西哥漫游的tmobile sim。看介绍是$
65的plan，自带16GB LTE data。可惜的是手上没有支持LTE的unlock机器，只有一台老
掉牙的lg l70。
到cancun以后，发现打电话和短信正常，但没有data。俺在酒店大厅上wifi速度研究了
一下，发现需要把apn换成epc.tmobile.com，之后就能正常上网了。虽然是3G的速度，
但用laptop或者别的手机连上去使用感觉起来还是嗖嗖的。高兴之余在电脑上用
speedtest测试了一下，下载11mbps，上传0.7mbps，相当堪用了。

十米左右的距离，2.4G的信号强度是good，11mbps，5G的强度是fair，6mbps。试着拷贝
，速度只有1MB/s，还不如以前的的俩Buffalo WHR-G125。
准备退掉了，看来只有拉线才是王道。 |

还可以。
另：你说的5M是B还是b？5MBps的话，对于一般的情况，很可以接受了。 |

下载比既定的要慢不少，上载倒是确实快了！
但是实际速度，完全不是这么回事...一用快播，非凡影音，很慢不说，还会短网就是
你说的那个叹号出现。
家里线路复杂，实在就是懒得接线测速，总之像问问是不是路由器拖后腿了，家里的就
是最基本款的linksys router，4-5年前买的。还带天线那种。到底是不是路由器不行
，所以不稳定。
外加想问问，换个小米的如何，和其它主流的比怎么样？ |

长期投资就等ac68或r7000的deal，不打算花那么多钱就只能看他俩midlevel的带ac的
refurb的，刷ddwrt之类的，$30-50吧

这两天出现一个问题，笔记本如果放到卧室里，就网络很差，显示只有11Mbps，如果拿
到客厅里来，在router旁边，那就网速不错，显示54Mbps。请问这种情况是因为router
不行还是笔记本网卡不行了？
router是Trendnet 54Mbps 802.11g. TEW-432BRP，是很久以前买的。笔记本是T43。 |

Actually, they are different in 11b/g/a, but in original
802.11, they use same coding scheme.
in 802.11b and newer versions, RTS/CTS/ACK always use
basic rate. For example, in 802.11b, there are 4 different
(1, 2, 5.5, and 11mbps) different rates can be chosen
depending on the channel condition. Control frames
always use 1Mbps the basic rate, in order to make sure
that these frames are warranted to be heard.
