连个月多了，打了无数个电话给citi。还是biz卡的客服，customer service不好好干
活，整天就是transfer to AA for details，或submit report要等。
昨天凌晨发的email给Citi CEO,昨天上午收到回信说要调查（试着联系我，没电话联系
上），今天查了查AAdvantage账户已经到账了。
经验是，只要靠谱的大公司,自己个人的case合理，一般闹到ceo那处理起来速度很快。
这是第二家 fight ceo得到正面结果的bank。可能接下来还有别的bank需要fight解决
问题，如果特定部门的客服一个个都实在不像话的话。附加，贴上此次fight的部分内

points的功能（就是用这张卡买无论哪个航空公司的飞机票，一旦飞完，飞一mile，攒
一个thankyou point，然后这些作为PENDING flying miles points的points被等量的
purchase给match出来，相当于只要买机票频率足够多，用这张卡任何购物都是一个
dollar两个points至少，很牛逼的）就没了，可是取而代之的其它几个新功能也不赖，
比如机票和旅馆的花销钱本身一个dollar攒两个points，更何况其它几张Citi的卡攒
thankyou points的功能也都不错，组合起来还是蛮不错的。可是，我常用这张信用卡
买机票，而且还经常帮别人买一定数量的机票，我非常希望能够keep这项flying miles

然后现在AA官网有buy miles bonus， 25万miles 一共$4300， 算下来1.7 cent/mile
用CITI AA信用卡买这个， 2倍积分， 相当于又送8600 miles
加起来60K+250K+8.6K=318.6K miles，
然后这个信用卡以后换里程票， 25K的里程票只用花17500，加上反10%， 相当于25K迈
的里程票 只花16K miles， 这样，本来账户里面有318.6K miles， 可以慢慢回国用，
出去旅游用， 用好几年吧？？ 这个投资看上去不错？ |

发帖数: 73 | 14 昨天实践了买usairway miles， redeem 2 roundtrip tickets from Beijing to
Boston。因为很多人都有问题，想把自己的经历分享给大家。
过程是这样的：
1。如果没有dividend miles account，必须先申请。
2。打电话USairway （18004284322）international airline reservation。 Hold
tickets。 注意名字。。。都不要错，否则无效。可以是UA or continetal....觉得选
择还挺多的。这个时候可以和agent确定，如果买miles，可以redeem tickets。
3。买miles。2 ecconomic tickets 需要 60k×2 miles。如果你有几千或2万miles，
那最好了。如果没有，你需要买两次：50k＋50kbonus，20k。price is about (50k+
20k)*$0.02956/mile=2069.38. 我的经验是，买完刷新页面，就可以看到milage 在
account 里了。

根据我五月底的5k 22'08"成绩，McMillan的预测我的mile是6'23"，就想把这个作为及
格线，六分十秒作为良好，进六分算优秀race之前一个月都在提高long run，没有特
意为了这个做speedwork，只是在比赛前三周，跑了三次6*400, 6 min pace，从结果看
还是组数是跑少了。
比赛是在晚上7点开始，算一个小型的local event，1 mile, 2 mile, 3 mile, 连续三
个，可以跑一个，也可以三个都跑。我们带了孩子去，我就跑mile，夫人跑3 mile。下
午带孩子去做checkup，出来吃点东西，开过去路上还堵了会儿，到的时候已经只有二
十五分钟了，匆匆系好chip戴上号码布，热身了大概十分种，就准备开始了，小家伙还对我
叫: Daddy, you will win!
我之前的speedwork都是在跑步机上，自己对于pacing没有感觉, 结果出发还是冲太快
了，因为第一次这个小比赛前五名是进了六分，我就跟着第四个人跑，结果跟了两分钟

800m jogging recovery. Was gonna run the first mile at tempo pace but went a
bit too fast. After the third mile, my legs felt shot and done. In the
fourth mile I made an effort to lengthen my strides by slightly raising the
knees, and it resulted in the fastest mile of the day. 6:03, 5:53, 5:56, 5:
52. That would give me a 5K time of 18:25 or so, pretty far from decent 5K

发帖数: 4354 | 20 本地很popular的Thanksgiving Turkey Trot。一般是5迈，气氛很好，其乐融融。我隔一两年跑一次。就是个Tune up race，简单报告一下，不用给包子了，呵呵。
基本按8分pace的10K effort跑的，没有push到头，chip time给的pace是8:01。最后跑下来总时间36:19，course看起来短了，4 mile牌子出来的地方305测的只有3.5miles，终点305测的是4.54 miles，official result的pace也是和这个长度符合。
看起来如果好好taper跑个10k应该比上次49:39成绩要好些。两周后半马估计可以跑sub 1:50，8:24 pace。再快按今天的感觉好像不太可能了。

0. 无所谓自行车胎压是多少， 反正有好几天没打了。也无所谓速度是多少， 反正
computer 没有电池有2周了。也无所谓喝多少水， 反正就带了一个bottle去比赛了。
1. 比赛还有15分钟就要开始， 才 check in. 自己从黑呼呼的地上抓起一个 chip,
往脚上套。别的都是浮云。时间是早上 5:30.
2. 离比赛还有5分钟，看见一人在打气。我想借打气筒打了算了。
3. 2千人按照 1 到 13 的 wave, 已经line up 好了。好不容易挤到前头的 wave 2
(24 miles/hour), 一看 wave 1 ( pro , 25 miles/hour + ) 已经出发了。正好，
我是 wave 2.
4. 想想带一个bottle 还是少了点， 毕竟90 miles. 天好像会有点热。在数千人的
眼皮下， 不慌不忙从地上捡起一个废弃的bottle, 里面还有水哦。

2 mile;（bought first, waited from big truck. dealer clean, put in gas, sticker, etc. while we were waiting in the lobby)
12 mile/45mile;（The car was driven from another dealer 33 miles away
from the one we did the paperwork by a pro. )
6 mile;
找大dealer. 从大卡车上下来的都是1mile左右的。也就是出厂，转运，装卸的时候
开一点。
不要买里程数较高的新车。试车的时候都瞎开。还有的是DEALER里的经理什么的
开着上下班。还有我们买的车没有到的时候他们竟然说可以给我另外一个新车白开
一个周末，周一取自己的车的时候把那个新车还给他们就好了。他们还能当新车卖。
总有顾客不在乎。我们感觉太TMD的伤人品了。没要。

成本， 每多开一个mile的成本应该远低于那个数值。

一般只要你有activity, UA的mile会自动延长18个月，activity包括earn/use mile。
简单的方法如下：
1.如果你有Chase UA的卡，随便买点东西，几分的也可以就能延长18个月，但一般要到
statement之后才能加上。
2.用miles换点杂志啥的，不过要至少1000多点。这个是instant有效。
3.给别人transfer点mile，至少1000起，而且要几十的手续费。这个是instant有效。
4.定Netflix DVD，可以有2000/4000的mile。价格10块钱以内，但要1个多月才能加上
miles.
5.如果你有chase freedom,而且可以换出UA的点数，6000点换UA 5000点。
6.我最喜欢也是最简单的方法，用UA的shopping mall。这个跟fatwallet的cash back

to reserve, it is possible not getting the matching points.
I saw this deal when it just came out (March. 10). But someone lied to say
the miles were maxed out. So I decided not to jump. Anyway, it is only worth
up to $1100 dollars. If you did not spend it within a year, I think you
will be charged on annual fee to keep the card and miles alive.
